One time. One cause. Everyone, together.
One Prayer Together is a short daily prayer (usually under three minutes) for one shared intention, heard at the same moment by everyone who joins. Here is how it works and what we believe about it.
One instant, everywhere
When it is 9:00 PM in Chicago, this is what the same moment looks like around the world.

How it works
One
Open the link
No account, no app, no camera. A quiet page with tonight's intention and a countdown.
Two
Pray together
At the moment, a short recorded prayer plays for everyone at once. Listen, or read along.
Three
Help if you can
Say Amen if you'd like. Then one small, optional act of kindness. Leave whenever you wish.
Why the same moment matters
Most of us can't be in one place. We can be in one moment. Praying the same words for the same people at the same instant turns scattered individuals into a gathering, and reminds each of us we are not carrying these burdens alone.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication.”
“Prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.”
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
We don't promise particular outcomes. We trust the One who hears.
What we believe about this
We do
- Pray to Jesus Christ, warmly and simply.
- Welcome everyone, exactly as they are.
- Keep it short: about three minutes, every day.
- Show real numbers, or none at all.
We don't
- Take sides in partisan causes or denominational disputes.
- Promise healing, prosperity, or outcomes.
- Suggest that giving changes anyone's standing with God.
- Collect names, emails, or locations to join.
Organizations mentioned after a prayer are resources, not partners, and any help they offer is open to all people, whether or not they pray.
About the numbers you may see
“About N here now” is an estimate of connected browser sessions in the last 45 seconds, not verified people. Amen counts are approximate and anonymous. We never show invented activity.
This is a pilot
A small, early project testing whether a simple shared daily prayer helps people feel connected and moved to help others. If something seems off, or the time doesn't work for you, we want to know.
